Rick Fitzgerald

PALM SPRINGS, USA // Rick Fitzgerald is a Blue Ridge born artist living in Palm Springs and the co-founder of both Lazy Turtle Group, an idea generation and design agency, and InnDica, a cannabis-friendly travel platform. In his spare time he acts as the Chief Creative Officer for Merchant Boxes, a boutique packaging design agency.

Rick has over 30 years of experience in brand identity, packaging, and digital design. He has launched and managed creative departments for global corporations including Shorewood Packaging, International Paper, and WestRock.

His designs have appeared across many consumer market segments including cannabis, hemp, music, movies, liquor, cosmetics, HBA, and fashion. His focus on sustainability and innovation in packaging is at the forefront of all of his award-winning collaborations.

Rick has an endless curiosity about the creative process and design mediums, which drives his agency. His “down to earth” nature and artistic approach are what turns his clients into his friends.
