Jus' Peachie Co.
CANONSBURG, USA // Peachie Wimbush- Polk aka OG Peachie across social media is an author, speaker, mindful entrepreneur and proud OG cannamom located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. A proud Air Force veteran and longtime cannabis patient and advocate, Peachie is a proud OG to her grandchildren and fairy cannagodmother to a host of “canna kids” within the community.
Peachie is the author and creator of Embrace Your Power and Magic: 48 Nugs from the Queen of Stones , an oracle deck, with 48 nugs of wisdom designed to inspire the owner of the deck to stop playing small with their lives and live like the powerful and magical beings they are. In addition to that endeavor, and in response to the uprisings in the Summer of 2020 as a result of George Floyd and Brianna Taylor’s murders by police, in 2021 Peachie also penned a piece for ‘Meeting At The Table: African-American Women Write on Race, Culture And Community,’ an anthology of essays, a continuation of her work to heal the ancestral bloodline and adding to her writing projects. The process of writing that work reignited a desire to seek out further avenues of resistance and ancestral healing not only for herself but other women who might be longing for a similar experience.
After attending her first wellness retreat in 2013 Peachie was motivated to create something similar on her own and pre-ordained in turn of events, the Universe presented her the opportunity to do just that. In 2021, she became a certified retreat leader, curating her own luxury wellness experiences for Black women. The alignment with her search and her ultimate goal of mindful entrepreneurship was undeniable and Jus’ Peachie Retreats was born. Jus’ Peachie Retreats is more than a retreat company, it's also a community of individuals looking to expand their horizons as well as an intimate event experience company that specializes in mindfully curated experiences for attendees.
In the summer of 2022 Peachie put into practice all that she has learned in her lifetime, combined forces with a creative dream team, and hosted twenty six women for a five star luxury wellness retreat, Elevate & Glow, in Negril Jamaica. It was an intentional journey of personal exploration consisting of daily sound therapy , meditations and a host of other activities encouraged to help attendees develop a self-love and self-care practice that would last beyond their days in Negril.
The retreat, the first of many, was described as a journey to arrive at a heightened sense of self-worth, self-care, and self-love through the natural healing properties of herbal medicine utilizing ancestral and ancient modalities and offered Black woman from all walks of life and a variety of ages to come together and tap into these workings.
Peachie is a firm believer in the beauty of the natural world and that our bodies are able to heal themselves if only we are able to apply the remedies, rituals and routines indigenous to our ancestors previously thought of as long lost to us.
As a veteran and social justice advocate Peachie makes it a point to be well versed in the current social and economic impact of all the advances legalization is creating and working with her team to carve out spaces for self expression and learning within the legacy market and community.
When she’s not focusing her time and attention on the many arms of Jus’ Peachie she is the real life OG extraordinaire to her Son, acclaimed artist Wiz Khalifa, and a host of grandchildren.
Currently she is in the process of planning for her next retreat adventures, both in the U.S. and abroad with her dream team and looking forward to spending time with her husband and extended family enjoying lots of personal travel.
